Reservation Policy NEET - UG 2021:
NEET (UG) Examination is abide by the reservation policy of the Government of India. According to this policy, only in the Central Universities and Institutions, followed for the 15% All India Quota, reservation for the category as following
In case of seats filled by the State Medical Colleges/Universities/Institutions /Private Medical colleges under other than 15%. All India Quota, the reservation policy of the concerned State Govt. shall apply.
Reservation Policy for PwD Candidates:
The candidates with Disability shall be considered for admission in medical course in reference with the criteria prescribed under the regulation on Graduate Medical Education.
The minimum degree of disability should be 40% (Benchmark Disability) in order to be eligible for availing reservation for persons with specified disability
The PwD candidates who want to avail 5% reservation have to get their Certificate of Disability made in one of the 12 designated centres as per the prescribed format.
