What is the difference between Pendrive Course & Live Course?
In Live course you get access to Live classes that are held every day. These are real-time classes which get recorded in your dashboard for you to view later as well. You need internet connectivity in order to attend a Live Class. Your doubts are resolved in the class itself.
In pendrive course you will receive entire set of video lectures through pendrive. The content of this pendrive can be downloaded on a single computer / laptop. You can choose the validity of the course at the time of purchase, it can be one year or two year. You do not require internet connection for this.
Test series is provided in both the courses.
How to join Live Class?
Kindly go to the Tab “Video Course” in the Main Menu and select the category (for eg. AIMCA/ NIMCET). After that select the specific product as per your requirements among the various available options. On the next page you would see various course categories like Live Classes, Full Video Tutorial (with or without pendrive) Combo course, etc. Chose the type of course that you wish to purchase and click on “Buy Now” button. The product will reflect in your shopping cart. On proceeding to check out you will have to fill in a form with some basic details like, name, billing address, etc. Now you will be redirected to a payment gateway where you have to make the payment. On successful completion of the transaction you will receive an email from the Impetus Gurukul team about the order being placed. You will get access to the Live Class within one hour of placing your order.

What do I do when I receive my Pendrive?
Along with the pendrive you receive detailed instructions on how to load the pendrive. Kindly read it carefully. It has a technical support no. where you are supposed to call to generate a dynamic password in order to download the entire content of the pendrive on your computer / laptop. Other than that you are supposed to login into your Impetus Gurukul Student Dashboard and update your profile page to avail various benefits.
How do I ask my subject related doubts / queries?
All the Impetus Gurukul students are given a ‘User ID’ & ‘Password’ through which they can access their customized dashboard on the Impetus Gurukul website. In the dashboard there is provision to ask a query with the Gurukul Team.
Also you may clarify your doubts directly with the teacher during the Live Class and Doubt clearing sessions.
Can I join class room course after purchasing a Pendrive or Live Classes?
Yes you may. The price paid by you for the pendrive or Live Classes will be deducted from the total class room course and balance amount will be required to be paid. We will also assist you in hostel and other facilities.
In how many days I will receive the pendrive?
The pendrive is dispatched on the very next working day after you place the order on the website. The pendrive is dispatched through courier and should reach you in 5-6 working days.
How do I track the status when the pendrive is dispatched?
You may track the status of the courier through the Tracking ID that you can find out by login into your Impetus Gurukul Student Dashboard. You will receive the Login ID & Password of your account as soon as you place the order on the website.
When IIT JEE Exam is conducted in a year?
The IIT JEE Main is conducted twice in a year January and in April.
How many attempts are there in IIT -JEE?
A candidate has a maximum of three attempts for JEE Main and maximum of two attempts for JEE Advanced.
What is the age requirement for appearing in IIT -JEE Exam ?
The minimum age limit for JEE Main is 17years. The candidate must not be more than 24 Years old while appearing for the exam.
What is the Educational qualification required for the exam?
Candidates must have passed class XII or qualifying exam.
Candidates appearing in class XII or equivalent qualifying exam can also apply for JEE Main.
Is the IIT- JEE Main offline or online?

In Mathematics section, there will be total 120 questions of 300 marks.
All questions will carry 2.5 marks each, which will only be allotted for choosing the correct answer. 0.83 Marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer. General ability test will comprise 600 marks; 200 marks are allotted to English and 400 marks in total are allotted to General Knowledge. In this section, there will be total 150 questions, 50 from English and 100 from General Knowledge. Candidates will be awarded 4 marks for each correct answer in this section. A deduction of 1.33 Marks will be there for each wrong answer.
Minimum qualifying marks for NDA?
It is usually minimum of approx. 30% marks in both Maths and GAT. Though the cutoff keeps varying every year, but if you have cross 30% in both your papers then most likely you have qualified for SSB interview.There are no percentage criteria.

What is the qualifying criteria for Allotment of Rank?
Based on the marks obtained by a qualified candidate in NIMCET test, a rank will be allotted by adopting the following criteria-
The marks obtained in Mathematics, Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning, Computer Awareness, English, will be multiplied by a factor of 3, 1.5 , 2 and 1 respectively. Thus maximum weighted marks will be 1000. Ranking will be based on total weighted marks obtained by a candidate. In case of a tie, it will be resolved based on weighted marks in Mathematics , then on weighted marks in Analytical Ability & Logical reasoning and then on weighted marks in Computer Awareness. In case the tie is not resolved by the above criteria stated in the above paragraph, then it will be resolved by age i.e., in favour of elder candidate.
