NEET MDS 2020- Eligibility Criteria

NEET MDS 2020- Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates who wish to apply for NEET MDS must meets the requirements set stated by NBE. If at any point in time NBE finds out that the candidates do not meet the eligibility criteria for NEET MDS 2020, his/her candidature will be cancelled at any stage. The eligibility criteria for NEET MDS 2020, as per MDS Course Regulations 2017 notified by Dental Council of India with prior approval of MoHFW is as follows:

  • Candidate’s minimum age should be 20 years.
  • Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from a university/ institute recognised by the DCI.
  • He/she must be registered with the Dental Council of India (DCI/ GOI) or State Dental Council (SDC) (permanent/ provisional).
  • He/ she must have completed 12 months of compulsory rotatory internship on or before March 31, 2020 or the candidate produces a certificate from the head of Institution that he/she will be completing internship by 31st March 2020.
  • Candidates found to be ineligible at any stage of NEET-MDS 2020 will not be permitted to appear in the examination and/or counseling. In an unlikely event of any ineligible candidate appearing and/or being successful in the NEET-MDS 2020, the results/ candidature of such candidate shall be cancelled and/or are deemed to be cancelled.
