NEET UG

1. NEET:

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to various undergraduate medical courses in India. It is the important and the most prominent medical entrance exam in India. NEET is the sole authority of entrance test for admission to any UG-medical course in India. This year, NTA will conduct NEET across 154 test cities for around 14 lakh aspirants.

NEET MDS

2. NEET MDS:

NEET MDS - National Eligibility cum Entrance Examination for dental (MDS) courses, is conducted by NBE. NEET MDS is conducted once in a year, for admissions to the postgraduate dental courses in India.

NEET PG

3. NEET PG:

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post-Graduation is another well-known examination conducted by NBE for admission to MD/MS/ PG Diploma/ DNB post-MBBS courses in India. NEET PG scores are widely accepted in India for admission to these courses.

NEET SS

4. NEET SS:

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Super Speciality Courses) or NEET SS is also conducted by the NBE for admission to various DM/MCh courses. Scores of NEET SS are accepted by all private medical colleges/universities, deemed universities and the Armed forces medical services institutions in India. However, AIIMS, PGIMER, JIPMER, NIMHANS, and SCTIMST are do not accept the scores of NEET SS and conduct separate entrance test for admissions to their super-specialty courses; for candidates interested for admission in their institutes.

AIAPGET

5. AIAPGET:

AIAPGET - All India AYUSH Postgraduate Entrance Test, is conducted by NTA every year. The AIAPGET is an entrance test for admissions to the postgraduate AYUSH courses in India. AIAPGET exam competent candidates can take admission to MS, MD or PG diploma course in either of the following AYUSH disciplines; Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy.

FMGE

6. FMGE:

The Foreign Medical Graduate Examination, generally known as FMGE, it is conducted by NBE. FMGE is a licensing examination conducted for those who want to practice medicine in India, but have completed their primary medical qualification from outside of India. Although FMGE is conducted twice in a year, it must note that, by this examination anyone will not get admissions in any institution but it is a practicing license exam.

DNB PDCET

7. DNB PDCET:

DNB PDCET - Diplomate of National Board Post Diploma Centralized Entrance Test, is a ranking examination conducted by NBE. As the name suggests, DNB PDCET is conducted for admission to DNB courses in India. However, the applicants must possess a postgraduate diploma to apply for the DNB PDCET exam.

FET

8. NBE FET: 

National Board of Examinations (NBE) conducts the Fellowship Entrance Test (FET). The main intention behind setting up a national body to conduct the entrance examination is to offer an equal standard to all the candidates. NBE FET is conducted for admission to Post Graduate Medical Degree/ Provisional Pass Certificate (MD/MS/DM/DNB/MCh) courses. It is a national level computer-based test.

JIPMER PG

9. JIPMER PG:

The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research is conduct JIPMPER PG entrance test for admission to its postgraduate courses. JIPMER PG is conducted twice every year for admission to the January and July sessions.

AIIMS PG

10. AIIMS PG:

AIIMS Delhi conduct AIIMS PG entrance examination, for admission to its postgraduate courses. In addition to MD/MS courses, AIIMS PG exam scores are also used for admission to the 6-year DM/MCh courses. Admission to the MDS courses in AIIMS is also take through this entrance test. AIIMS PG is conducted twice a year, in the months of January and July.

11. AIIMS SS:

AIIMS DM MCH MHA – All India Institute of Medical Sciences has conducted the entrance examination for admission in AIIMS DM MCH MHA July 2020. This entrance examination is conducted for admissions to Post Graduate and Post-Doctoral Courses. i.e. DM, MCh, MHA. The selection of candidates is done on the basis of their performance in Stage 1 and Stage 2.

12. PGIMER:

Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh is conducted PGIMER exam for admission to the its PG degree courses. PGIMER entrance examination is conducted twice yearly. The total number of seats available through PGIMER entrance test is around 143.

13. PGIMER - DM/MCH/MPH:
